The Play

Greater Tuna is set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, the "third smallest" town in the state.  It is an affectionate comment on small town,

Southern life and attitudes but also a withering satire of same. Men, women, children, and animals in this town are represented.

RVP is looking for experienced directors for our new season, which begins in September, 2012. All director assignments are open and interviews will be scheduled starting mid-May.
Our Director stipend is $750.00.

Production Positions Print
RVP is a great place to learn and grow your artisitc talents. We are currently looking for people interested in the following areas:

Costume Designer- Applicant must have strong design capabilities with a thorough knowledge of fashion history.

Set Designer- Applicant must collaborate with the production staff to create an environment for productions.

Stage Director- Applicant must have experience in ensuring quality and completeness of theatrical products and unifying all aspects of production.

Stage Manager- Applicant is responsible for organizing productions, communicating across disciplines and keeping shows running smoothly.

Light Operator- Applicant must have experience in operating all lighting equipment, including a light board.

Sound Operator- Applicant must have experience in operating all sound equipment, including a sound board.
