Synopsis:
30-ish Isabelle “Izzy” Grossman, an associate at a sophisticated Upper West Side boutique bookstore, leads an ambitious, cosmopolitan, Manhattan life. At work, Izzy socializes with fascinating celebrity writers, such as the charming, charismatic, Tyler Moss. Meanwhile, Izzy’s loving, Lower East Side grandmother, “Bubbie,” worries that Izzy’s career focus will prevent Izzy from finding a husband. Bubbie hires Hannah, a professional matchmaker, to find a perfect match for Izzy. Hannah introduces Izzy to Sam, a pickle salesman from Bubbie’s neighborhood. Izzy resists the match, politely telling Sam, “This isn’t my style.” Sam calmly responds, “Sometimes you can change your style.” Will she?
